The Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg, and the Deputy Minister, Stanisław Szwed, took part in the first meeting of Ukrainian refugees’ issues special staff.

Minister Marlena Maląg and Deputy Minister Barbara Socha met today with Marin Din Kajdomcaj, Representative of UNHCR - UN Refugee Agency. The talks concerned Poland's support in helping Ukrainians.

The Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg, took part on Tuesday in the ceremonial session of the Labor Protection Council, held in the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. The meeting was also attended by members of the Labor Protection Council and parliamentarians, representatives of the ministries concerned, the National Labor Inspectorate, Social Labor Inspectorate and representatives of social partners.

Vice-President of the European Parliament, Dita Charanzová, was the guest of Minister Marlena Maląg, who introduced her to the aid provided by Poland to Ukrainian citizens.

Minister Marlena Maląg, together with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, participated in the 5th Program Conference: "Silesian Order - Silesian bank of ideas for Ukraine", organized in Katowice.

Polish-Slovak intergovernmental consultations began on Friday in Slovakia, devoted to, inter alia, Russian aggression against Ukraine and matters concerning energy and economics. The Polish delegation is chaired by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. The consultations are attended by the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg.

Minister Marlena Maląg participated in a meeting with representatives of non-governmental organizations, devoted to the subject of cooperation in the field of assistance to Ukrainian citizens. The meeting, chaired by the deputy prime minister, prof. Piotr Gliński, was held at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

On Wednesday, Deputy Minister Barbara Socha met Mr. Ruslan Kolbasa, Director General of the Directorate for the Development of Social Services and Protection of Children's Rights of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.
