23.12.2021November was the ninth month in this year in which the unemployment rate decreased on a month-to-month basis. According to the calculations of the Statistics Poland, the unemployment rate in November amounted to 5.4%, as confirmed by the estimates of the Ministry of Family and Social Policy. In October, it was 5.5%. – I am glad that the major objective of our measures – the protection of jobs brings tangible results – says Marlena Maląg, Minister of Family and Social Policy.

21.12.2021Another edition of the Ministry of Family and Social Policy’s programme entitled “Care 75+” is being launched. Communes must report their demand for funds for 2022 by the end of January. In this edition, the special-purpose subsidy from the state budget increased to 60% of the cost of implementing the task.

16.12.2021From January 2022, the governmental programme entitled Family Care Capital is to be launched. – This is another support for families and an investment in human capital – said Minister Marlena Maląg. For this purpose, PLN 3 billion was secured in the state budget.

15.12.2021On behalf of Marlena Maląg, the Minister of Family and Social Policy, the Memorandum on cooperation regarding migrant workers was signed today by Deputy Minister Anna Schmidt and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Daphne Bergsma.– This is an important step on the way to the protection of workers’ rights – said Deputy Minister Schmidt.

14.12.2021The coronavirus pandemic had no major impact on the employment of foreigners in nearly half of the districts, and in more than 40% the demand for employees from abroad even increased – according to the surveys conducted by the Ministry of Family and Social Policy among the District Labour Offices. In the vast majority of cases, the offices agree: foreigners have a positive impact on the labour market in Poland.
