On 2 June this year, Secretary of State, Krzysztof Michałkiewicz, met with David Capozzi, Executive Director of the federal agency U.S. Access Board. 

Secretary of State Stanisław Szwed took part in a regional meeting of the ministers of labour and social affairs of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia, which was held on 1 June this year in Bratislava.

On 31 May this year, Minister Elżbieta Rafalska and Secretary of State Stanisław Szwed participated in intergovernmental Polish-Slovakian consultation.

On 25 May 2017, Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy, Elżbieta Rafalska, took part in the second Budapest Demographic Forum. 

On 19 May 2017, Zoltán Balog, Minister of Human Resources of Hungary, paid an official visit to Warsaw. During his stay in Poland, Hungarian Minister, together with Deputy Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Piotr Gliński, in the presence of Minister E. Rafalska, opened an exhibition entitled “Hungarian Love” at the National Ethnographic Museum.

On 17 May this year, Minister Elżbieta Rafalska and Undersecretary of State Marcin Zieleniecki met in Warsaw with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce – AmCham in Poland.

Today, President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, Minister Elżbieta Rafalska and President of NSZZ “Solidarność,” Piotr Duda, inaugurated the social and information campaign “Decent Choice. Restoration of the retirement age.”

On 9 May this year, Undersecretary of State, Elżbieta Bojanowska, met with Anna Carin Öst, Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), in Poland.

Today, Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland, signed an amendment to the act on temporary workers.

On 27 April 2017, a joint meeting of ministers and representatives of social partners of the Visegrad Group took place.
