PLN 40 million for activation of foreigners. The Minister of Family has announced a competition

The programme is aimed at professional activation and social integration of foreigners who left their country in fear of losing their health or lives due to the ongoing armed conflict - says the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg.

The call for proposals "Together We Can Do More - First Edition of the Activation Programme for Foreigners for 2022-2023" is the first stage of the Department's Activation Programme for Foreigners planned for the next three years. The aim of the programme is the professional activation as well as integration and social activity of foreigners who legally reside in Poland, but who face difficulties with, among others, finding employment, language barrier and integration in society.

In the announced call for proposals - within the first edition of the programme - local government units, non-governmental organisations and labour market institutions can apply for funding for projects implemented in the programme's priority areas - professional activation and integration. Tasks may include support for foreigners seeking employment, planning to open a business.

An additional advantage of the offers submitted in the current edition of the programme will be the inclusion of a group of foreigners who were evacuated to Poland last year as part of the government's support of allies from Afghanistan or who found themselves in a particularly difficult situation due to evacuation from areas covered by military operations in Ukraine - says the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg.

Important deadlines

An entity applying for support may submit only one offer within one priority area, and no more than two offers within one competition. A single offer may cover two priority areas, however it is advisable to specify the leading priority.

Offers, together with declarations and all necessary attachments, should be submitted by 21 March 2022 until 16:00, via the Electronic Platform of Public Administration Services (ePUAP): /4g447ytes7/skrytka or http://epuap.gov.pl/wps/portal/strefa-klienta/katalog-spraw/opis-uslugi/pismo-ogolne-do-podmiotu-publicznego

The tasks should be implemented by the end of 2023 at the latest. The Ministry will allocate an amount of up to PLN 40 million for the implementation of projects under the competition.
