The government has adopted a draft act on the ICT system

25.10.2022

The government has adopted a draft act on the ICT system to handle certain contracts. With the solutions provided for in this act, employers and principals will gain a tool for executing contracts and archiving documentation. Calculating and paying taxes and insurance premiums will be less complicated.

Rząd przyjął projekt ustawy o systemie teleinformatycznym

We have prepared a project that will make life easier for entrepreneurs and employees. We want them to focus not on bureaucracy, but on tasks that bring them profit and development. We want to build a modern administration. Micro-entrepreneurs and companies employing up to 9 people, farmers and natural persons will be able to use a special IT system. The web application will include templates of standard contracts and functionalities enabling e.g. deducting social security premiums and advance income tax. It will not be necessary to develop a contract on one’s own or perform many activities as part of various duties – summed up Marlena Maląg, Minister of Family and Social Policy.

Key solutions

  • An ICT system will be developed to facilitate the correct calculation and deduction of taxes and insurance premiums.
  • The new solution will enable the conclusion of contracts via the ICT system using ready-made templates.
  • The application of a trusted signature will be extended to the conclusion of: employment contracts, mandate contracts, contracts for the provision of services to which the provisions on mandate apply, and nanny contracts.
  • The ICT system will support the process of concluding and storing contracts and providing access to employee documentation.
  • The solution will be integrated with the praca.gov.pl and biznes.gov.pl system.

The new regulations are to enter into force 30 days after their promulgation in the Journal of Laws. The ICT system will be launched by 2025. The Minister of Family and Social Policy may announce an earlier launch of the system.
