The 'Working Holiday' Programme – Argentina
The agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the Argentine Republic on the 'Working Holiday' Programme was signed on 28 November 2018 and entered into force on 1 May 2019.
Benefits of participating in the Programme
Participation in the ‘Working Holiday’ Programme enables young citizens of the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Argentina to learn about the culture and way of life in the partner country, which promotes mutual understanding between our nations. The programme provides participants with the opportunity to enjoy a longer holiday, combined with the possibility of taking up employment to supplement their travel funds. In addition, it enables participants to undertake short-term studies or courses that contribute to the improvement of their professional skills and personal development.
Conditions of participation
Polish citizens who meet the following conditions may apply to participate in the Programme:
- The main purpose of their trip to Argentina is a holiday stay lasting up to one year.
- They are between 18 and 30 years of age.
- They are not accompanied by dependent family members.
- They have a valid passport: issued no earlier than 10 years prior to the application, with at least two blank pages, which will be valid for at least 90 days after the end of the planned stay.
