Today, 5 thousand nurseries and children's clubs and nearly 1.8 thousand day carers operate in Poland.

There are also over 1.2 thousand foster care institutions (care and educational institutions, regional care-therapeutic institutions and intervention pre-adoptive centres)

– Due to their daily, direct contact with children, the employees of these facilities are particularly vulnerable to infection, that is why we cared so much to include them in the vaccinations under the first stage of the National Vaccination Programme – says Minister of Family and Social Policy Marlena Maląg.

When will the applications commence?

On Monday, February 8 of the current year. Government Centre for Security has provided a dedicated registration form which may be used by the directors of the facilities to register the employees who wish to receive the vaccination. The form is available under the following address: https://szczepieniazlobki.rcb.gov.pl

Which information must be provided?

The form must include the basic details of the facility, the name of the director and the names of the employees who register for vaccinations, as well as voivodeship, district and municipality where the specific facility operates.

Next, the preferred vaccination point within the voivodeship where the care institution operates must be selected.

The form must also include the number of the registered employees and the detail of each employee – full name, PESEL number, and in the person, who does not hold a PESEL number – their birthday and the series and number of their proof of identity (i.e., identity card, passport).

The form only accepts employees born between 1962-2003. A separate vaccination will be provided for persons over the age of 60.

The entire registration procedure is simple and intuitive.

Does the employee must register by himself or herself?

The employee must inform the director of the facility which employs him/her about their will to get vaccinated. Not additional forms, helpline calls or text messages are required. – these procedures will be handled by the director of the facility. When the preparations arrive in the vaccination facility, the employee will receive information about when and where to appear for the vaccination.

When are the registrations due? When will the vaccinations commence?

The form must be filled until Wednesday, 10 February, and the vaccinations will commence on Friday, 12 February.

On the designated date, the employee must remember to bring an identity document and a pen to the vaccination. The vaccination point will ask to fill in a brief questionnaire.
