Communication No. 72 concerning the change of the date of quarterly reporting for obligated institutions operating in the field of virtual currencies

Further to letter ref. IF6.701.2.2023 of the General Inspector for Financial Information of 28 September 2023 addressed to obligated institutions operating in the field of virtual currencies and to the GIFI’s Communication No 67 of 16 October 2023, published at https://www.gov.pl/web/finanse/komunikat-nr-67-w-prawa-pla-obligation-reporting-quarterly-by-institutions-obligated-conductors-business-for-currencies-virtual), concerning the introduction of a quarterly reporting obligation for obligated institutions operating in the field of virtual currencies (hereinafter ‘VASP’), we would like to inform you that the deadline for submitting a report by VASP covering data for the fourth quarter of 2023 has changed.

New deadline for submission of the report by VASP, including data for Q4 2023: from 8 January 2024 (date of making available in the GIFI IT System, the form for submitting reports) to 22 January 2024 (date of completion of submitting reports for the fourth quarter of 2023).

 

Other rules from the letter of the General Inspector for Financial Information of 28 September 2023 No IF6.701.2.2023 concerning reporting by VASP remain unchanged (in particular the dates of reporting in subsequent quarters).
