Department:

• is responsible for the international tax policy with respect to cooperation with the EU, OECD, UN and other international organisations;
• conducts negotiations of international agreements for the elimination of double taxation and the prevention of tax evasion and avoidance;
• conducts negotiations of tax information exchange agreements and multilateral automatic tax information exchange agreements (MCAA) with countries outside the European Union; 
• is responsible for legislation with respect to act on the exchange of tax information with other countries and act on the implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the United States of America on improving the fulfillment of international tax obligations and the implementation of FATCA legislation, as well as implements EU directives on administrative cooperation in the area of taxation;
• is responsible for legislation and tax policy-making with respect to transfer pricing, including the attribution of income to a foreign permanent establishment;
• is responsible for legislation and negotiations of international agreements regarding the resolution of international tax disputes;
• organises platform for cooperation between tax administration and business in the area of transfer pricing (Transfer Pricing Forum – FCT).
