Pricing of EUR bonds

The Ministry of Finance informs that on June 30 this year, two tranches of benchmark bonds denominated in euro with a total nominal value of EUR 3.0bn were valued:
- 7-year bonds worth EUR 1.75 billion due July 7, 2032 were valued at 75 basis points above the average swap rate. A yield of 3.178% was obtained, with an annual coupon of 3.125%.
- 12-year bonds worth EUR 1.25 billion due July 7, 2037 were valued at 120 basis points above the average swap rate. A yield of 3.903% was obtained, with an annual coupon of 3.875%.
The funds from the issue of the green bond tranche will be used to finance pro-environmental projects, in accordance with the issuer's Green Bond Framework and the Second Party Opinion received from Sustainalytics.
Poland was the first country to issue Green Bonds in 2016. The last such issue took place in 2019.
Investors once again confirmed their interest in Polish bonds denominated in euro, reporting a total demand exceeding EUR 5.7bn.
The issue was executed under the Republic of Poland`s European Medium-Term Note (EMTN) Programme. The lead managers on the transactions were Citigroup Global Markets Europe AG, Commerzbank AG, ING Bank N.V. and Santander S.A.
