After 24 hours of stationary coding in Krakow, the prizes for the best solutions have been handovered!

HackYeah 2023

HackYeah is Europe's largest stationary  hackathon focusing on creating innovative solutions to relevant problems in today's world. Every year, thousands of programmers, designers and IT enthusiasts from more than a dozen countries join the event. In addition to this  unforgettable experience, the organizers provide participants with hectolitres of coffee, obscene amounts of pizza and, of course, the opportunity to win large cash prizes and the latest technology gadgets. During the 24-hour programming marathon, participants had the opportunity to learn new skills and network with IT professionals. The ninth edition of the GovTech-supported HackYeah hackathon took place on 30.09-01.10.2023 at Krakow's Tauron Arena.

#HackSQL Program Cities with GovTech by PFR - Winners

Kutno - uData shaping PLN

Team: Samolotex 
The #EduKalkulator solution was developed by the team and offers the possibility of transparent access to data on education finances, including the detection of anomalies and the evaluation of education efficiency.

Świdnica - Young in the City

Team: TheFlowersAI 
The team created the #stay_in_Świdnica platform linking the demand of local entrepreneurs with the educational offer of vocational schools so that young people graduating from school have adequate skills to those in demand on the labor market.

Kołobrzeg - Competence Campus

Team: IPA Squad 
Kołobrzeg, as a city without a university, will get a chance to implement a web application #CircleEdge, promoting informal education using gamification.

Stargard - Starship. Become a Junior Developer

Team: Azeno 
#Starship is an application that will provide Stargard's students  access to an educational platform offering a rich selection of courses and will enable the creation of new solutions for the needs of the units operating in the municipality.

Congratulations to all HackYeah participants, and especially to the winning teams, who finished the weekend with prizes worth a total of PLN 260,000!
