Armela Krasniqi was accompanied by AMA Secretary General Ronelda Rrapollari and Leonard Radici ICT, Specialist on the Frequencies Monitoring and ICT Directorate.

During the mitting mainly concerned the scope of tasks of the Albanian regulator, whose activities, similarly to Poland, are defined by the relevant media act.

In connection with Albania's plans to join the European Union, AMA works on appropriate regulations - a draft of a new act. In connection with this, one of the main tasks of AMA is to implement EU law. The Albanian regulator places particular emphasis on including the provisions of the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the European Media Freedom Act (EMFA).

The AMA's Chairwoman emphasized how important it is for Albania, liberated from communist dictatorship, to maintain freedom of speech and avoid hate speech.

AMA also underlines the importance of media education including training of the young generation to responsible and critical consumption of media content, especially disseminated on online platforms, including social media.
