At the request of the Chairman of the National Broadcasting Council , Mr. Maciej Świrski, a meeting took place between the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda and members of the KRRiT at the Presidential Palace.

According to Grażyna Ignaczak-Bandych, Head of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, the KRRiT representatives “presented an opinion on the situation in the public media sector.” The conclusions of the meeting are as follows: it is necessary to repair the state of the public media sector, and this matter must be resolved immediately, she announced.

The Minister added that it was also agreed that the KRRiT “as a constitutional body and appointed for this purpose, will prepare a draft resolution and after its adoption will present solutions to the President and the Council of Ministers.”
