29.09.2025The Chairwoman of the National Broadcasting Council, Dr Agnieszka Glapiak, took part today in the PIKE-CONNECT Conference organised by the Polish Chamber of Electronic Communication in Łódź. This annual event brings together representatives of the telecommunications and media industries. The National Broadcasting Council is the honorary patron of this event.

25.09.2025The Chair of the National Broadcasting Council, Dr Agnieszka Glapiak, presented the 'KRRiT Report on Activities in 2024' together with 'Information on the Main Problems of Radio and Television in 2024' to the Senate. These documents summarise the key activities of the constitutional body that safeguards freedom of speech, the right to information and media independence in Poland.

10.09.2025Due to the current national security situation, the National Broadcasting Council unanimously adopted a resolution appealing to the Minister of Culture and National Heritage to immediately terminate the process of liquidating public media companies.

08.08.2025On 8 August 2025, a meeting of the National Broadcasting Council was held and chaired by Dr Agnieszka Glapiak, the Council's Chair. Prof. Hanna Karp (Deputy Chair) and members Marzena Paczuska and Prof. Tadeusz Kowalski attended the meeting. Maciej Świrski did not participate in the meeting. The National Broadcasting Council is conducting its regular work without any disruptions.

27.06.2025In accordance with the statutory obligation to index subscription fees, as specified in the Act on Subscription Fees of 21 April 2005, the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) has adopted a regulation setting the fees for the use of radio and television receivers in 2026 at the lowest possible level.

24.06.2025On 24 June 2025, the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) held a ceremony at its headquarters to present the Dr Paweł Stępka Awards for the best doctoral dissertation and the best popular science publication in the field of electronic media, published in 2024.
