Plenary Session of the European Board for Media Services with Participation of the KRRiT Chair

On Thursday, 2 July, the fifth plenary session of the European Board for Media Services (EBMS) was held in hybrid format. Dr Agnieszka Glapiak, Chair of the National Broadcasting Council, took part in the meeting online.
One of the main topics of the session was a discussion of the European Board for Media Services' priorities, as well as the Board's role in the context of new tasks arising from the implementation of European regulations on the media market.
Board members also discussed progress in the work of the four working groups and the communications group, and adopted documents produced by these teams.
During the session, a representative of the European Commission provided an update on the Commission's current activities in media and digital policy. Participants also discussed organisational matters relating to the functioning of the EBMS, including strengthening the Board's presence on social media.
During the session, the chair of one of the working groups thanked KRRiT for its activity and commitment to the EBMS.
