On Wednesday (22 September), the 9th meeting of the Polish-Flemish Joint Commission was held in Warsaw under the chairmanship of Bartosz Grodecki, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Interior and Administration and Julia Bynens, Secretary-General in the Department of Administration and Foreign Affairs of Flanders.

The second Polish-Lithuanian intergovernmental consultations were held in Warsaw on Friday (17 September), led by Poland’s Prime Minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, and Lithuania’s Prime Minister, Ingrida Šimonytė. As part of the bilateral talks, the head of the Polish Ministry of Interior Mariusz Kamiński met with the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania, Agnė Bilotaitė.

–The Polish state has undertaken necessary and adequate steps to seal the Polish-Belarusian border. ‘The main objective of the Border Guard, supported by the Polish Armed Forces and the Police, is to prevent illegal border crossings’ said Deputy Minister Maciej Wąsik in the Sejm. The Deputy Head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration answered MPs' questions at the Sejm on the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border.

"We must effectively counter illegal migration, including in the interests of those people whom Lukashenko cynically exploits. If they do not enter the European Union illegally, if our Polish border is a hard border, this crisis will end", the Head of the Ministry of the Interior, Mariusz Kaminski, told the Sejm on Monday (6 September). After a debate, the Sejm rejected a motion to repeal the decree of the President of the Republic of Poland on the introduction of a state of emergency on the territory of parts of the Podlaskie and Lubelskie Voivodeships.

On 31 August, the Ministers of Internal Affairs of the European Union met in Brussels for an extraordinary Justice and Home Affairs Council meeting. The talks concerned the impact of the situation in Afghanistan on the issues of international protection and migration and on the security of the European Union. Polish interests were represented by Deputy Minister Bartosz Grodecki.

The EU Ministers of the Interior held a video conference on Wednesday, 18 August 2021, convened by the Slovenian Presidency in the framework of Integrated Political Crisis Response (IPCR). The meeting was attended by Bartosz Grodecki, Undersecretary of State in the Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration.

A working meeting was held on Monday (16 August) within the framework of the Belarusian-Polish Intergovernmental Coordination Commission on Cross-Border Cooperation, attended by the Polish delegation led by Bartosz Grodecki, undersecretary of state in the Ministry of Interior and Administration, and the Belarusian side was represented by Evgeny Shestakov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.

On Friday (16 July), Minister Mariusz Kaminski held talks with Agnė Bilotaitė, Minister of the Interior of Lithuania. The main topic of the meeting was to discuss recent events related to the increase in the influx of illegal migrants from Belarus to Lithuania.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez Pérez-Castejón along with the relevant Polish and Spanish Ministers have participated in intergovernmental consultations concerning cooperation between both countries. Mariusz Kamiński, head of the Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration, met with Fernando Grande-Marlaska Gómez, Minister of the Interior of the Kingdom of Spain.
