- The choice of place was not arbitrary - we picked Warsaw to show the theory of victory, as Poland has been demonstrating for the last few years how to place large investments for freedom to have strength with which to defend itself - said the Deputy Prime Minister W. Kosiniak-Kamysz during the Warsaw Security Forum.

Military mobility - this is the postulate that our countries have been making for a long time. The European Union should immediately decide to allow unimpeded movement of military vehicles if any country needs help and invites the armies of their allies to provide it. It is not acceptable for any region or location to block the passage of allied troops if help is necessary - said the Deputy Prime Minister W. Kosiniak-Kamysz.

On September 10, 2026, the Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defense, Mr. Paweł Zalewski, together with representatives from the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, the Support Inspectorate, the General Command, and the Cyber Defense Forces Command, met with the American delegation headed by Deputy Assistant Secretary of War Mr. William Cappelletti, appointed to lead talks for the Pentagon on strengthening the U.S. military presence in Poland. DASW Cappelletti and his team were accompanied by United States European Command (EUCOM) and representatives of the U.S. Embassy, Warsaw.

Poland and Canada strengthen defence cooperation.

On the margins of the meeting of the North Atlantic Council on 27 August, the Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence Paweł Zalewski held talks at the NATO Headquarters in Brussels with the US Undersecretary of War for Policy Elbridge Colby, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Europe and NATO Policy William Cappelletti and the US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker.

Building and developing the skills and joint medical capabilities of Polish and American military healthcare on the eastern flank of NATO - those were the main topics of discussions between the representatives of the Department of the Military Medical Services and the delegation of the military healthcare leadership in the United States Armed Forces.

It is incredibly important to show the unity of the Alliance today. There was a lot of emotions around it in the last few months. Poland invested in its Transatlantic and European relations. Europe has to be stronger and take greater responsibility. Poland has responded to this call first, as a model ally: 5% of GDP for defence standing, investing in the defence industry and Transatlantic relations. This is all ongoing - said the Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Ankara.

- Our meeting today was a preparation for two events: tomorrow's conference of the Ministers of Defence of the V4 Group in Budapest and the NATO Summit that will take place in Ankara in two weeks. But first and foremost I would like to thank the Czech Republic, the Minister and the Czech Armed Forces for sending a hundred soldiers, as well as attack helicopters, to bolster the defence of the Polish border as part of the NATO operation established after the drone attack on Poland. Together, we are responsible for security on the eastern flank of NATO. The Czech Republic understands and remembers this very well. The involvement, dedication and prolongation of this mission was a personal decision of the Minister, for which I am sincerely thankful. It is an honour to work together in the North Atlantic Alliance - said the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

- Today I have heard an assurance from the Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Spain of allied support for Poland with all the threats pertinent to us, especially from the Russian Federation. I have heard a declaration of great solidarity, friendship and readiness to support every member state of the Alliance. These often repeated manipulations regarding Spain and its role in NATO and level of commitment are fairy tales. Spain is committed and ready for cooperation and joint action. Today's meeting was a chance not only to confirm allied commitments - Poland will also fulfil all its commitments towards Spain and our allies in NATO and the European Union - but also to prepare a stance for the NATO Summit in Ankara in two weeks - said the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the second day of the visit of the Polish delegation in Madrid.

- I had the opportunity to talk with the Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, leader of the Pentagon, today. We have discussed cooperation, collective defence, matters tied to the security of Poland and collaboration with the United States. I have also received an official reply to my letter from 29 May, which noted Poland's readiness to create a permanent base for the US military. I am pleased to announce that the Secretary of War together with his entire team, as well as the United States, have responded positively to the proposition of establishing a permanent military base in our homeland - noted the Deputy Prime Minister W.
