- Poland together with allies from the United States and other partner countries joined the organisation of one of the largest exercises organized by the US Army in Europe in 25 years. Strategic force deployment practiced as part of Defender Europe 20 is one of the key capabilities necessary to ensure Poland's lasting security. This exercise is an expression of our shared commitment to security. Defender Europe 20 is also an opportunity for the Polish Armed Forces to prove itself both in terms of logistics planning and coordination - said Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defence during the briefing before the Defender Europe 20 exercise.

- We work together when it comes to the security of Poland and Lithuania within the European Union, but above all within the North Atlantic Alliance. Thanks to the documents signed today, this cooperation will be even closer - said Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defence in Vilnius.

- Our countries are crucial, not only for the security of our region, but also for the entire NATO. We are on the eastern flank of NATO, which has unique strategic significance for the North Atlantic Alliance. I would like to emphasize that Poland's commitment to the security of the region is long-term - said Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defence in Tallinn after meeting his counterparts from the Baltic States.

- NATO's eastern flank will be reinforced by implementation of NAC decisions taken, among others last year. (...) Poland is an important shareholder in this undertaking called “4x30”. One of the six land forces brigades creates the Polish Army, and Poland is the framework state. We also reported the participation of two F-16 squadrons. Security in Poland and on NATO's eastern flank has also been ensured thanks to our activity - said Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defence in London.

- We talked about Polish-US relations. We talked also about implementation of the declarations signed by presidents Duda and Trump, about increasing the number of US troops in Poland, and expanding defence infrastructure - said Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defence after meeting with Robert C. O'Brien, the US National Security Advisor. The meeting took place on December 3 in London.

- We have just witnessed an important moment. The President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda honored soldiers of the Polish Air Force, heroes who fought for free Poland, fought on many fronts, fought during World War II - said Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defence during a meeting at the Polish Embassy in London.

The head of the Ministry of National Defence participated on November 25, 2019 in a meeting of the successor to the throne of the Kingdom of Denmark Prince Frederick and Princess Maria Elizabeth and the Polish presidential couple Andrzej Duda and Agata Kornhauser - Duda with soldiers - veterans from Poland and Denmark.

- Today we pay tribute to our common heroes, extraordinary people who, with arms in hand, realizing that the opponent is much stronger, stood up to fight for the freedom of our homeland. But today's celebrations are also important for our future, for the future of relations between our countries - said Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defence in Vilnius.

- The purpose of our meetings was to prepare positions for heads of state and heads of government for the December summit in London. Essential issues for Poland are issues related to NATO's eastern flank, and thus to strengthen NATO's readiness to oppose all forms of attack on our countries. We also talked about the financial effort – burden sharing, and thus the financial contribution of individual countries in terms of defence - said Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defence after the meetings of NATO defence ministers at the Alliance Headquarters in Brussels.

- I am proud of the fact that both declarations signed by the presidents are the result of the hard work of the Polish Ministry of National Defence and the US Department of Defence. This is even more important to me because strengthening the alliance with the United States and increasing the presence of US forces in Poland is one of my priorities - said Mariusz Błaszczak, the minister of national defence of Poland in Poznań.
