- We create a community that is the strongest alliance in the history of the world. We are a community of free states that guarantees security for all of us - said Mariusz Błaszczak, the minister of national defence during the meeting of Prime Ministers and Defence Ministers of the Visegrad Group countries (V4).

F-16, Rosomak, Krab, Leopard, Langusta were just some of the attractions that awaited all those who came on military picnics on Saturday, March 9, at 11.00, in 20 military units throughout the country organised under the slogan "20 years of Poland in NATO". It was part of the official celebrations organized on the occasion of Poland's accession to the structures of the North Atlantic Alliance in 1999.

- We are in a special place, 20 years ago Poland joined the North Atlantic Alliance. Here, soldiers of the 15th Mechanized Brigade and soldiers of units from the United States, Great Britain, Romania and Croatia train every day in Orzysz. This is the evidence of our solidarity, this is the dimension of our skills, the skills of allied troops - informed Mariusz Blaszczak, the Minister of National Defence during joint maneuvers of the Polish Armed Forces and the NATO battle group led by the United States.

- Together with Lithuania, we are very active in the North Atlantic Alliance, and in Lublin we cooperate with our Ukrainian partner. I am happy with Ukraine's declarations on the pro-atlantic trend, because our future is cooperation that gives everyone security - said Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defense during a visit to the Multinational Brigade in Lublin.

Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defense together with his counterpart from the Republic of Lithuania Raimundas Karoblis, in the presence of the Presidents of both countries, signed documents on military cooperation.

​​​​​​​- EU countries have appropriate competences and capabilities to play an important role in ensuring security in cyberspace - said Tomasz Zdzikot, secretary of state in the National Defence Ministry during the conference "CYBERSEC Leaders' Foresight 2019" in Brussels.

- We talked about "Fort Trump". There is a lot of understanding in the US Congress, in the US Senate defence committee, but also in the US House of Representatives for this project - said Mariusz Błaszczak on the second day of the Security Conference in Munich.

- Increasing the US military presence in Poland will be important for the whole eastern flank of NATO. If necessary, the Pentagon will get more time to provide Congress with an assessment of this matter - said Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak after meeting with the acting US Secretary of Defence, Patrick Shanahan.

- We have it! On Wednesday, we will sign a contract with the United States government on the delivery of the HIMARS squadron for the Polish Army, and thus a weapon that will significantly increase the combat capabilities of the Polish Army. It will be 20 launchers with ammunition. This is modern equipment that guarantees effectiveness on the battlefield - said Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defence during a visit to the 1st Warsaw Armored Brigade.

On Thursday, 1st February Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak took part in the 14th Defense Attaché Meeting in Warsaw. Also the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of National Defense Tomasz Szatkowski attended the meeting with officers who are currently serving abroad, as well as with foreign service candidates.
