On May 20, 2025, Elżbieta Andrukiewicz, DSc from the National Institute of Telecommunications received the "Normalization Compass" - an award granted by the President of the Polish Committee for Standardization (PKN). The distinction was presented during a conference organized by PKN to celebrate Polish Standardization Day.

Professor Anastase Shyaka, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to Poland, visited the National Institute of Telecommunications. Although initially an introductory meeting, the visit quickly evolved into a substantive discussion about potential cooperation at the intersection of technology, knowledge, and development.

On April 23, 2025, during the 17th European Economic Congress, a discussion panel titled "A Digital Map for Poland" was held, featuring representatives from public administration, technology companies, and the media. The conversation focused on the key challenges and priorities of Poland's digital transformation in the coming years. Among the panelists was Krzysztof Szubert, Plenipotentiary of the Director of the National Institute of Telecommunications for Commercialization and International Cooperation.

On April 16, 2025, the RFBenchmark Symposium "Challenges for the Telecommunications Sector in 2025-2030" was held at the Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw. One of the event's guests was Anna Streżyńska, Director of the National Institute of Telecommunications.

Krzysztof Szubert, Plenipotentiary of the Director of the National Institute of Telecommunications for Commercialization and International Cooperation, took part in the expert debate “AI in the Service of Citizens, the State, and National Security.” The event, organized by the National Chamber of Digital Economy and the Defence24 portal, was part of the series “Poland 5.0 from the Citizen’s Perspective – Priorities for Polish Digitalization 2025–2028.”

In an increasingly digital world, ensuring consistent and robust cybersecurity in complex, multi-stakeholder systems is more important than ever.

On March 12, 2025, the European Cybersecurity Certification Conference was held at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw. The event was organized by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA). It brought together leading European experts in the field of cybersecurity certification and was one of the meetings organized under the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

IT Security Evaluation Facility (ITSEF) at the National Institute of Telecommunications has renewed its certification of compliance with the information security management system according to the PN-EN ISO/IEC 27001:2023-08 standard.

We have published issue 4/2024 of the scientific quarterly Journal of Telecommunications and Information Technology (JTIT), issued by the National Institute of Telecommunications. The issue is available for free download from the journal's website.
