Architectural accessibility

Architectural accessibility of the NFEPWM headquarters
The headquarters of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (hereafter referred to as NFEPWM) is located in The FORM building at 97 Pańska Street in Warsaw. NFEPWM is committed to ensuring that the space is accessible to all people, including those with disabilities.

Access and parking
The building can be reached by car or public transport:
Buses: line 178 (Norblin 02, Rondo Daszyńskiego 01; 02 and 09), line 157 (Norblin 05), line 105 (Rondo Daszyńskiego 02, 03 and 09), line 106 (Rondo Daszyńskiego 04 and 09).
Trams: lines 10 and 11 (Norblin 04 and Rondo Daszyńskiego 07 and 08), lines 1, 22, 24 (Rondo Daszyńskiego 04, 05,06).
Metro: line M2 - Rondo Daszyńskiego station, exit 03
On the side of Pańska Street, there is an entrance to an underground car park with spaces for people with disabilities. Use of the car park requires prior notification.

Entrances to the building
There are three entrances to the building:
• the main entrance to The FORM from Pańska Street,
• two entrances from Pańska and Miedziana Streets, which provide direct access to section C with the NFEPWM reception desk.
Both entrances are wheelchair accessible. Visitors coming to the Fund shall use the entrance in section C, where they can:
· leave or collect correspondence
· receive assistance from reception staff
· use a wheelchair

Internal communication
• The passageways are secured with gates adapted for wheelchairs.
• Access to the floors 3, 4 and 5 is provided by lifts with buttons marked in Braille and equipped with voice messages.
• The stairs leading to floors 3,4,5 are equipped with handrails and the stair treads are marked with contrasting stripes.
Toilets for people with disabilities are available on the ground floor and on all floors occupied by the NFEPWM.

Sensory information
• The reception desk is equipped with an induction loop for people with hearing impairments.
• There are no tactile maps, audio navigation or Braille markings in the rooms.
• Reception staff provide information about the layout of the rooms and a visual version of information about the location and functions of individual rooms occupied by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
Guide dogs – persons with assistance dogs may move freely around the building.

Rules concerning walking around the building
In accordance with safety rules, visitors may not walk around the building without a guide. They must be accompanied by the person who invited them or another NFEPWM employee acting as an assistant.
