Financing

In accordance with LIFE programming documents, Applicants may apply for funding from the European Commission on the implementation of projects in the amount up to 60% of eligible costs (standard), and, in the case of projects for priority habitats and species – up to 75%.

Polish Applicants planning to implement a LIFE Programme in Poland may also apply for co-financing the project with funds from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. Co-financing allows to supplement the project's budget even up to 95% of eligible costs. Detailed rules for awarding grants are specified in the Priority Programme "Co-financing the LIFE Programme"
