THE AMOUNT OF THE DEPOSIT AND THE DATE AND PLACE OF ITS PAYMENT:

 

The condition to enter the tender is the payment of a deposit of 10% of the starting price of the car, which amounts to JPY 15 000. The submitted offer shall be confirmed immediately by the deposit paid in cash at the cash desk of the Polish Embassy in Tokyo, 2-13-5 Mita, Meguro-ku, 153-0062 Tokyo, Japan, or by wire transfer:

Failure to pay the deposit will result in rejection of the offer.

The deposit should be paid before the deadline for submission of tenders. The security deposit lodged by unsuccessful tenderers shall be reimbursed within 7 days from the date of the selection or the rejection of the tender respectively. The security deposit lodged by the purchaser shall be credited towards the price. The deposit shall not be reimbursed if the successful tenderer chooses not to finalize the sales contract.

 

THE OFFER SHALL CONTAIN:

- name, surname and address or name (company) and seat of the bidder, mobile phone number and e-mail address (a draft is available on request),

- the price offered, not lower than the starting price, and the conditions for its payment,

- tenderer's statement that he has familiarized himself with the condition of the subject of the tender or that he is responsible for the consequences resulting from the resignation from the inspection,

- a statement concerning the processing of personal data (a draft is available on request).

- a document confirming the deposit fee.

In case of joining the tender by a legal person, an up-to-date excerpt from the relevant register should be attached to the offer.

 

THE DATE, PLACE AND MODE OF SUBMITTING THE OFFER:

The offer, including the required documents, should be submitted in a sealed envelope at the address: Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tokyo, 2-13-5 Mita, Meguro-ku, 153-0062 Tokyo, Japan, not later than 28.09.2023 at 17:00 local time (date of receipt is decisive).

Please mark the envelope with the following: "Sale of Mercedes Benz E 250".

The offer is binding for 14 days. The offer shall be confirmed immediately by the deposit lodged. An incomplete or unsigned offer will be rejected. Failure to pay the deposit is a reason to reject the offer.

The tender organizer has the right to close the tender without choosing any offer and without giving any reason.

 

REJECTION OF OFFERS:

The tender committee shall reject the tender if:

- it has been submitted after the deadline, in the wrong place or by a tenderer who has not paid the deposit fee,

- does not contain the data and documents referred to in this notice, or is incomplete or otherwise questionable, and the submission of explanations could lead to its recognition as a new offer.

After rejecting the tender, the Tender Committee shall immediately notify the tenderer.

OTHER INFORMATION:

 

The buyer is obliged to pay the purchase price within no more than 7 days from the date of signing the sale and purchase agreement. The object of sale shall be released immediately after the Purchaser has paid the purchase price within the period specified by the Seller. The Purchaser shall be responsible for collecting the car from the Vendor's seat and further transport.

If the Purchaser evades the signing of the contract within the period indicated by the Vendor after the selection of the offer or fails to pay the Vendor the amount offered within the period indicated, it loses the right to purchase the car that is the subject of the tender, and the Tender Committee will offer to buy the car to the next bidder who submitted the next highest price offer.

All costs, taxes and fees related to the purchase of the subject of the tender shall be borne by the buyer. By entering the tender, the purchaser agrees and undertakes to pay all taxes and charges required by the authorities of Poland or another country to which the vehicle will be sold. Transportation and all formalities necessary to export the vehicle from Japan are the responsibility of the buyer.
