Minister of Finance and Economy – Andrzej Domański
Born on August 27, 1981, in Kraków. Polish economist, economic analyst, and politician.
He earned his master’s degree from the University of Economics (formerly the Academy of Economics).
From 2008 to 2019, he managed investment funds and served as investment director and board member in domestic and international financial institutions.
He worked as an analyst and equity portfolio manager at KBC TFI (2008–2010), and later as fund manager and director of fund management at Noble Funds TFI (2010–2016).
From 2016 to 2019, he was on the management board of Eques Investment TFI, responsible for capital markets, fund management, and macroeconomic analysis.
From 2020 to 2023, he was an advisor to biotech startup Auxilius Pharma. He served on the supervisory boards of XTPL (2020–2023), Movie Games (2022), and Auxilius Pharma (as chair).
Former chief economist of the Civic Institute and co-creator of Civic Platform’s economic program.
Since 2023, member of the Polish Parliament. Appointed Minister of Finance on December 13, 2023. Since July 2025, serving as Minister of Finance and Economy.
Privately, husband and father.
