Minister for Government Policy Implementation – Maciej Berek
Ph.D. in Law, legal advisor, assistant professor in the Department of Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, and expert at the Centre for Research, Studies and Legislation of the National Council of Legal Advisors.
From 2007 to 2015, he was President of the Government Legislation Centre and from 2008 to 2015 Secretary of the Council of Ministers. Between 1997 and 2022, he worked in offices serving various constitutional public authorities, including as Director General of the Office of the Ombudsman, Deputy Director of the Budget and Finance Department of the Supreme Audit Office, and Deputy Director of the Legal and Adjudication Department of the same institution.
He also held roles in the Chancellery of the Senate and served two terms (2009–2017) as a member of the Main Adjudication Committee on Breaches of Public Finance Discipline. As a legal advisor, he worked with entities such as the National Council of Legal Advisors, Employers of Poland, and the National Council of Laboratory Diagnosticians.
Author of publications in constitutional law, legislation processes, and public finance discipline.
Since 2023, he has served as Minister-Member of the Council of Ministers and Head of KSRM (Committee for Strategic Governmental Projects). In July 2025, he was appointed Minister for Government Policy Implementation and Head of KSRM.
