Minister of the Interior and Administration – Marcin Kierwiński
Born on August 22, 1976, in Warsaw. Polish politician and local government official.
Graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology and Production Engineering. In 2003, he completed postgraduate studies at the "Orgmasz" Institute. Between 2000 and 2007, he worked at PZL Warsaw-Okęcie.
In 2006, he was elected to the Warsaw City Council. In 2007, he became Vice President of IF Max-Film, and between 2007 and 2010, served as Vice President of Warsaw-Modlin Airport.
In 2010, he was appointed Deputy Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. Since 2011, he has served as a Member of Parliament.
In February 2015, he became Secretary of State at the Prime Minister’s Chancellery and subsequently Head of Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz’s Political Cabinet.
In 2020, the National Council of the Civic Platform appointed him Secretary General of the party. On December 13, 2023, he was appointed Minister of the Interior and Administration.
In May 2024, he was elected to the European Parliament but resigned to rejoin the Council of Ministers in September to coordinate flood recovery efforts. In July 2025, he was reappointed Minister of the Interior and Administration.
