Sergiusz Wolski
Head of Mission at the Embassy of Poland in Dar es Salaam, with accreditation to Tanzania, Malawi, Comoros, and Burundi
Sergiusz Wolski is a career diplomat who joined the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2009 through the diplomatic and consular training programme. From 2009 to 2011, he worked in the Department of Public and Cultural Diplomacy.
Between 2011 and 2015, he served at the Embassy of Poland in London, where he was responsible for consular assistance, providing support to Polish citizens in crisis situations.
From 2015 to 2018, he was posted to the Embassy of Poland in Kenya, with additional accreditation to several East African and Indian Ocean countries, including Tanzania until 2017. For nearly two years, he headed the mission as Chargé d’Affaires.
From 2018 to 2019, he worked at MFA headquarters in the Department of Africa and the Middle East, first as Head of the Sub-Saharan Africa Division and subsequently as Deputy Director responsible for Sub-Saharan Africa and horizontal issues.
Between 2019 and 2025, he served in the European External Action Service, first as Head of the Political, Press and Information Section and Deputy Head of Delegation at the EU Delegation to Madagascar, also accredited to Comoros. He then worked at EEAS headquarters in the Africa Department, focusing on EU relations with South Africa—the only African country with which the EU has a strategic partnership.
On 2 May 2025, Sergiusz Wolski assumed the position of Head of Mission at the Embassy of Poland in Dar es Salaam, with accreditation to Tanzania, Malawi, Comoros, and Burundi.
