Chargée d'affaires a.i. at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dar es Salaam Katarzyna Sobiecka spoke to ‘The Chanzo’ on Polish-Tanzanian relations and our involvement in the EU Youth Debate Contest. Thanks to the funds of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and the Embassy of Poland in Dar es Salaam the three top winners of EU Youth Debate Contest will visit Poland this year!
The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dar es Salaam was a key partner of the EU Youth Debate Contest project initiated and financed by the EU Delegation in Dar es Salaam. The finals of this debate competition took place live in the Auditorium of the Library of the University of Dar es Salaam on January 30-31, 2025. The winners of the competition were students of two Tanzanian universities who individually obtained the highest numbers of points during the debates: Mrs. Careen James Ndika and Kijafaraja Maduhu from the University of Dar es Salaam and Mrs. Diana Shabani from Tumaini University. Once again, we congratulate them on the well-deserved award in the form of an educational and cultural study visit to Poland, financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland together with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dar es Salaam, which will be carried out during the summer season later this year.
