14.06.2021Ambassador Buzalski at the inauguration at the health center in MaganzoOn June 11, 2021 Ambassador Krzysztof Buzalski took part in the inauguration of the new wing of the health center run by the Polish Elizabethan Sisters in Maganzo, Geita region. Thanks to the project implemented by the Sisters in cooperation with the Redemptoris Missio organization, financed by Polish aid, it was possible to build and equip an X-ray and ultrasound center as well as offices for specialist doctors. The project was carried out as part of the Polonia for Neighbors campaign and Polish support for the poorest affected by the coronavirus epidemic.

28.05.2021THE BANACH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME – CALL FOR APPLICATIONS UNTIL JUNE 21, 2021This year, the existing scholarship programmes that are a joint initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA in the form of Polish development aid, i.e. the Banach Scholarship Programme and the Lukasiewicz Scholarship Programme, are merged into one scholarship programme for young people from developing countries who wish to take up studies in Poland. The call for applications will be carried out until June 21, 2021, 3:00 pm local time (Warsaw).

14.05.20212nd Stanisław Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music 2021Until May 31, you can apply to the Stanisław Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music. The second edition of the Competition will be held from September 11 to 18, 2021 at the Artur Malawski Podkarpacie Philharmonic in Rzeszów. Participants will compete for a total prize pool of over eighty thousand euros in two categories - piano and chamber ensembles. The competition is organized by the Institute of Music and Dance, and the main financial prizes are funded by the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport.

03.05.2021230th anniversary of the Constitution of 3 MayWhen on 3 May 1791 the Four-Year Sejm also called the Great Sejm adopted The Government Act of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth later known as the Constitution of 3 May, the Polish-Lithuanian state became the Europe’s first and the world’s second that passed the basic law. For its time, it was a progressive and bold legal act which initiated a number of reforms. It also constituted a crowning achievement of the centuries-old links between Poland and Lithuania.
