On 1 July 2026, the Polish–Tanzanian Business Forum was held in Dar es Salaam. The event was organised by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), through its Nairobi Office, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dar es Salaam.

Around 100 representatives of the public and private sectors participated in the forum. The Polish business delegation represented sectors including maritime infrastructure, residential construction, agricultural technologies, renewable energy, electromobility, water technologies and fintech. The Tanzanian partners of the event were the Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA), the Tanzania Private Sector Federation (TPSF) and the Zanzibar Investment Promotion Authority (ZIPA).

A key element of the forum was the B2B and B2G meetings, during which participants discussed opportunities to develop trade and investment cooperation. The Polish side presented the potential of the Polish economy, highlighting the country's experience in economic transformation, innovation and the development of modern technologies.

The Guest of Honour was Fred Msemwa, Permanent Secretary in the President's Office responsible for investment. In his remarks, he highlighted the importance of the forum in the context of the launch of the implementation of the Tanzania Development Vision 2050 – the country's new long-term development strategy based on industrialisation, infrastructure development, digital transformation and increasing the inflow of foreign investment.
