On 28 November, the Embassy hosted a special reception to commemorate the 107th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence, bringing together members of the Polish community in Tanzania as well as Tanzanian alumni of Polish universities.
On 28 November, the Embassy hosted a special reception to commemorate the 107th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence, bringing together members of the Polish community in Tanzania as well as Tanzanian alumni of Polish universities.
The event featured the inspiring exhibition “Polish Inventions That Changed the World,” highlighting groundbreaking Polish achievements that have significantly influenced global civilizational and cultural development. Showcasing contributions across science, culture, art, and politics, the exhibition underscored the important role Poland has played in shaping modern progress.
Sergiusz Wolski, the Head of the Embassy, conveyed his warmest wishes to the Polish community and Tanzanian alumni gathered for the occasion. He emphasized their vital contribution to strengthening Polish-Tanzanian relations and expressed sincere gratitude for their ongoing engagement, which helps build a positive image of Poland in Tanzania.
The reception also served as an excellent opportunity for the local Polish community to come together, exchange experiences, and form new connections. Guests enjoyed traditional Polish dishes prepared especially for the celebration, while Polish and international music enhanced the friendly atmosphere to encourage conversations and shared festivities.
