Making translations

Where to apply?

You can apply at a selected Polish consular office which provides translations from the language of the document.

Do I have to apply in person?

You can submit the documents personally or send them by post.

A third person may submit and collect documents on behalf of the applicant, if he/she has a notarised authorisation from the applicant. While submitting the authorisation please include a photocopy of the authorised person's identity document.

How to book an appointment?

You can book your appointment for legal issues via the e-konsulat.

What documents do I need to submit?

The document you want the consul to translate.

The consul translates documents from Polish into Vietnamese and from Vietnamese into Polish. 

While submitting documents please include their photocopies.

How much does it cost?

The fee shall be charged in accordance with the Consular Fees Table – point 6.08 or point 6.10.

What is the waiting time?

The consul translates the document without undue delay, but not later than 30 days from the filing date.

How to collect the documents?

Personally. You can also ask to have the documents delivered by post if you pay the postage.

How to appeal?

If the translation is refused, the consul will issue a decision. You can appeal against the decision to the Minister of Foreign Affairs within 7 days. You can lodge the appeal through the consul who had issued the decision.
