Another transport of protective equipment for Polish hospitals

Yesterday evening, one of the largest transport aircraft in the world - AN 124 Ruslan, loaded with equipment purchased by the Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu touched down in Wrocław. This time, more than 14 million protective masks and 140,000 shoe protectors flew from Shanghai to the distribution hubs of the Material Reserves Agency, from where they will be distributed to entities indicated in the instructions of the Ministry of Health.

This is yet another transport of PPE carried out at the behest of the ARP.

“The functioning of strategic state reserves in recent weeks shows the efficiency and good cooperation of various entities from the government administration sector and State Treasury companies,” pointed out Michał Kurtyka, Minister of Climate.

“Over the past two weeks, we have released 14 million protective masks of different types, 1.8 million gloves, 829,000 litres of disinfectant and 331,000 protective suits from the storage facilities of the Material Reserves Agency. This is only a part of the state aid that goes to the healthcare providers and other key institutions,” the Minister added.
