Appointing the Panel on Renewable Energy Sources Industry Development and the Benefits for the Polish Economy

The Minister of Climate has appointed the Panel on Renewable Energy Sources Industry Development and the Benefits for the Polish Economy.

The key tasks of the Panel will include developing recommendations regarding the directions of development for the Polish renewable energy sources (RES) industry, maximising the benefits for the Polish economy on the path to climate neutrality and ensuring national energy security. The team will carry out tasks related to preparing legal as well as non-legislative solutions aiming to achieve these goals.

Our priority is to prepare appropriate tools which will contribute to ensuring national energy security. I hope that the recommendations and legislative solutions proposed by the Panel will allow to intensify and coordinate the measures implemented in favour of RES in Poland - stressed the head of the Ministry of Climate Michał Kurtyka.

The Panel will issue recommendations in the following areas: Clean Heat, Eco-Transport, Local Energy Dimension, Hydrogen Economy, Fair Transformation and Large Scale Zero Emission Energy Sources.
