Since 2009, the Ministry of Climate and Environment has been implementing the “GreenEvo - Green Technology Accelerator” program, aimed at promoting Polish green technologies. Its key mission is to help small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) build international partnerships and provide them with the knowledge and tools needed for rapid growth. Only verified, implemented, and highly effective technologies are admitted to the program.

GreenEvo laureates deliver technologies in a wide range of environmental areas, including:

• water and wastewater management
• air protection
• waste management
• energy solutions
• biodiversity preservation
• eco friendly constructions
• smart city solutions
• climate resilience

Economic Missions

A key element of the program is participation in national and international economic missions, which effectively promote Polish green technologies at home and abroad. These missions give companies direct access to global markets through trade fairs, economic forums, and B2B/B2G meetings - leading to new business relationships, cooperation agreements, pilot installations, and technology transfer partnerships.

GreenEvo laureates also receive specialized training on international markets, sales and presentation strategies, export development, and securing R&D funding. In addition, they benefit from government backed support under the GreenEvo brand, provided by the Ministry of Climate and Environment in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, and their global networks.

Success of the GreenEvo Programme

Since its launch, GreenEvo has carried out more than 150 business missions across over 70 countries worldwide, opening international markets to Poland’s most innovative green technologies. Today, the Accelerator brings together 51 leading companies offering 65 green technologies.

The programme has already enabled the signing of nearly 300 agreements with international partners and over 400 cooperation arrangements within Poland, strengthening both global reach and domestic collaboration.  GreenEvo also maintains a strong presence at the most important national events, ensuring continuous exposure and partnership opportunities for participating companies.
