Inauguration Meeting of the Committee for the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources of the National Development Council with the participation of Deputy Minister Małgorzata Golińska

On 30 June 2021, the Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment Małgorzata Golińska participated in the nomination and the inauguration meeting of the Committee for the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources of the National Development Council appointed by the President of the Republic of Poland.
While appointing the Committee for the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources, President Andrzej Duda indicated that the scope of activity of the Committee – ranging from the environment through energy up to national resources – is particularly wide and the works of the Committee planned for the upcoming years are of key significance for the Republic of Poland.
When congratulating the chairman of the Committee - Minister Paweł Sałek - and its new members, the Deputy Minister additionally pointed out that she counts on mutual good cooperation.
We are all aware of the fact that we are facing exceptional challenges related to energy transformation and maintaining energy independence of our country. We are facing the challenge of the protection and reasonable use of natural resources in a manner that allows them to be used by the current as well as the future generations
– said the Deputy Minister Małgorzata Golińska.
The Committee for the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources of the National Development Council is a team of experts who acts as consultants and advisers for the President of the Republic of Poland. It prepares, among others, opinions, expertise and situational analyses in key issues related to the environmental protection as well as substantive assumptions for the presidential draft acts.
