Match-making event

The match-making event took place on 3rd of March 2020 within the Conference Inaugurating III Edition of the EEA and Norway Grants in Poland. It was dedicated to the Programme Environment, Energy and Climate Change, and especially its two components: Climate Change and Environment. The objective of the meeting was to establish contact between the entities from Poland and Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein (so-called Donor States). Such a contact may contribute to application for a grants in the partnership. Partnership between the Polish beneficiary and the entity from the Donor State is very important as it is additionally valued in almost every call announced within EEA and Norway Grants.
In the first part of the match-making event Icelandic and Norwegian entities had shortly presented information about their institution and its activities, so that in the second part of the meeting it was possible to easily get in touch with Polish counterparts interested in the same subject, make contact and speak about common areas of interest and future ways of cooperation.
The interest in the participation was great both as far as Polish side and Norwegian and Icelandic side is concerned. Ministry of Climate is now considering further steps in order to facilitate net-working and finding partners for future projects (such as publication of a list of foreign institution and short, one-page information about its activity).
