The year 2022 is a time of accelerating investments in the energy sector and negotiations on the EU Fit for 55 Package. We want an energy transition, but our approach to it must be realistic. We want to change, we want to go towards low- and zero-emission, but, at the same time, we show the starting point in the energy transition we are in.

– she said.

Minister Anna Moskwa also pointed out that in the case of development of hydrogen technologies, we can build innovations in this area.

Looking at how hydrogen technologies are developed in Poland, we can build both domestic and foreign innovations. A good example can be the use of hydrogen in public transport, which was visible in the case of the Green Public Transport programme.

– she highlighted.

The Head of the Ministry of Climate and Environment also talked about the development of renewable energy sources (RES).

We support many branches of RES, including, in particular, the development of offshore wind energy, onshore wind farms and photovoltaics. Thanks to the “My Electricity” programme, the number of prosumers in Poland is nearly one million
