New Deputy Ministers of Climate and Environment

Prime Minister Donald Tusk appointed new Deputy Ministers of Climate and Environment on 14 December 2023. Anita Sowińska and Miłosz Motyka received their appointments. The appointment letters were presented by the Minister of Climate and Environment, Paulina Hennig-Kloska.

New Deputy Ministers of Climate and Environment

The Minister of Climate and the Environment, Paulina Hennig-Kloska, requested the Polish Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, to appoint undersecretaries of state in the Ministry of Climate and Environment. At the request of the Minister, the appointments were received by:

  • Anita Sowińska - Undersecretary of State.

She holds a degree in management and marketing from the Technical University of Łódź and an MBA from the Leon Koźmiński Academy in Warsaw. Since 2019, she has been a Member of the Polish Parliament IX. In the ninth term of the Sejm, she sat on the Committee on the Environmental Protection, Natural Resources and Forestry and the Public Finance Committee.

  • Miłosz Motyka - Undersecretary of State.

He is an environmental engineer by training and a graduate of the University of Agriculture in Kraków. He has been involved in social activities; he served as president of the Young People's Forum from 2017 to 2023. He graduated from  the School of Political Leadership. Since 2019, he has been a spokesperson for the Polish People's Party.
