29.09.2020

During the press event in Rymań, Minister Kurtyka announced the launch of a new support programme for multi-family buildings (from 3 to 7 apartments), facilitating replacement of old, inefficient solid-fuel heat sources and thermal upgrading of buildings.

The programme will be carried out by the regional funds for environmental protection and water management, and it will benefit natural persons – owners and co-owners of flats in multi-family buildings. The Western Pomeranian Voivodeship will be one of the regions piloting the programme.

We are working on a grant scheme concerning multi-family buildings. We plan to launch it early next year, Minister Michał Kurtyka announced.

The co-financing will cover the purchase and installation of a new heat source provided that inefficient solid-fuel heat sources are replaced within the scope, as well as thermal upgrading – for example purchase and installation of new windows and doors, the Vice-President of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management Paweł Mirowski added.

Just like in the Clean Air Programme, the exact grant amount will depend on income. In the case of a basic level of subsidy (for applicants with annual income of up to 100 000 PLN), the maximum amount of subsidy will be: up to 20 000 PLN for replacement of heat source and for thermal upgrading works, up to 25 000 PLN for purchase and installation of air/water or ground heat pump and for thermal upgrading works, up to 10 000 PLN solely for carrying out thermal upgrading works without heat source replacement.

In the case of a higher subsidy, (for families with up to 1400 PLN monthly net income per person, and for single residents with up to 1960 PLN monthly net income), the maximum amount of the subsidy will be: up to 32 000 PLN for heat source replacement and thermal upgrading works, as well as up to 15 000 PLN solely for carrying out thermal upgrading works without heat source replacement.

Additionally, in the case of removing an old and inefficient solid-fuel heat source, the applicants will be able to obtain a subsidy of up to 5 000 PLN for the purchase and deployment of a solar micro installation, which may not cover more than 50% of the costs incurred.
