New version of the 'NaszEAuto' (Our Car) programme - more beneficiaries, more support, faster transport transformation

12.11.2025

The revised version of the 'NaszEAuto' (Our Car) programme expands the circle of beneficiaries, increases the availability of support and strengthens the development of zero-emission transport in Poland. During a press conference held on 12 November 2025, the Ministry of Climate and Environment and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management summarised the implementation of key programmes supporting the development of charging infrastructure and the purchase of electric vehicles.

New version of the ‘NaszEAuto’ (Our Car) programme – more beneficiaries, more support, faster transport transformation

Highlights:

  • Over 19,500 applicants have already benefited from the ‘NaszEAuto’ programme, with a total amount of over PLN 600 million.
  • In the new version of the programme, support has been extended to M2 and N1 category vehicles (small buses and delivery vans).
  • NGOs, national parks, local government units, schools and medical facilities, among others, are eligible to apply for funding.
  • Subsidy amounts up to PLN 40,000 for passenger cars (M1), up to PLN 70,000 for delivery vehicles (N1) and up to PLN 600,000 for minibuses (M2).
  • The programme's budget is PLN 1.1 billion, and more than 50% of the allocation has already been used.
  • The bonus for scrapping a vehicle has been maintained, while the low-income bonus has been abolished.
  • The waiting time for subsidy payments has been reduced to approximately 7 months.

More vehicles, more possibilities

The new version of the ‘NaszEAuto’ programme, launched on 20 October 2025, is a step towards the more widespread use of zero-emission vehicles not only in the private sector, but also in the public and social sphere.

Support is available to schools, care facilities, medical entities operating under contract with the National Health Fund, non-governmental organisations and local government units.
We are increasing the attractiveness of the programme by opening it up to institutions that carry out socially important tasks. Our goal is to make electromobility the standard not only in companies, but also in schools, hospitals and national parks

– said Krzysztof Bolesta, the Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment.

Stable pace of electromobility development

The Ministry of Climate and Environment is implementing a comprehensive strategy for the development of zero-emission transport, which also includes the construction of charging infrastructure and support for the heavy transport sector.

Programmes financed by the Modernisation Fund, such as ‘Support for the construction of charging stations’, ‘Expansion of power grids’ and ‘Support for the purchase of N2 and N3 category vehicles’, are very popular. In the very first call for proposals under the charging station construction programme, 352 applications were submitted for a total amount of over PLN 2 billion, and the total capacity of the planned installations exceeded 1.15 GW.

Polish electromobility is developing dynamically. Together with local governments, entrepreneurs and social organisations, we are building a modern transport market that will reduce emissions and improve the quality of life for residents

– said Krzysztof Bolesta, the Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment.

Direction: zero-emission transport of the future

Thanks to the changes being introduced, electromobility is becoming increasingly accessible and cost-effective. The combination of support for individual users, public institutions and the private sector allows for the development of local markets, reduction of emissions and increased energy security.

The transformation of transport is not only about investing in technology, but also investing in people – in cheaper, cleaner and more accessible transport for all

– added the Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment.
