Template report, defined for the three cases laid down in Article 43(1)(2) and (3) of the Act of 17 December 2020 on promoting energy production in offshore wind farms covers the stages of construction and operation of the offshore wind farms.

The need to submit the reports on the on the implementation of the plan of material and service supply chain to the President of the Energy Regulatory Office aims at achieving continuous involvement of the producer in the domestic market throughout the investment life-cycle, and therefore – increasing the share of so called local content.

The provided information will enable demonstration of the implementation progress for the assumptions defined in the plan of material and service supply chain in the reporting period.

This will enable more effective monitoring of the producer activities and design policies to increase the share of the Polish enterprises in service and supply procurements for the offshore wind industry. This regulation will also have a positive effect on the implementation of the Polish Offshore Wind Sector signed on 15 September this year.

The Ordinance of the Minister of Climate and Environment on template reports on the implementation of the plan of material and service supply chain will be announced in the Journal of Laws and enter into force after 14 days from the day of announcing thereof.
