Poland joins the Electric Vehicles Initiative (EVI)

The representatives of the Ministry of Climate have declared Poland to be willing to join the Electric Vehicles Initiative.
EVI is an intergovernmental forum, whose aim is to accelerate the electrification of transport worldwide. The initiative was launched under the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM),
which focuses on the development and promotion of e-mobility as one of its areas of interest.
The main goals of EVI include:
- raising and strengthening public awareness of the opportunities offered by electric transport;
- supporting national and international efforts on e-mobility;
- creating a vision of future development of e-mobility;
- participating in the development of publications on e-mobility and its growth.
The EVI currently comprises Chile, China, Finland, France, Germany, Canada, India, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, the United States, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
