Dear Young Friends! Thank you very much for your participation in today’s Youth Climate Strike.

Your presence testifies to the growing awareness and commitment of the young generation to environmental protection. By doing what you did, you not only show us what issues are important to you, but also point to where we should focus our efforts, clearly emphasising the issues of climate change in the eyes of the society. I am pleased to see that I am witnessing the formation of a new generation of committed people who want to fight for a better future for our planet.

I believe that you will continue to seek reliable information on climate change. I hope that your attitude today is the beginning of further actions for good. May they result in a reduction in the causes of man-made climate change.
