The last predefined project agreements had been signed

On 21st of December 2020 the last agreement on the predefined project realised within the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Programme had been signed

The Agreement on the project “Capacity Building of the Key Stakeholders in the Area of Geothermal Energy” is realised by the Mineral and Energy Economy and Research Institute Polish Academy of Science in the partnership with National Energy Authority of Iceland. Total cost of the project is € 900 000. 

The main objective of the project is to raise the knowledge and awareness of key stakeholders in Poland on geothermal energy as a source prospective for low-emission heating and mitigating climate changes.

It is the 3rd predefined project of the Programme “ Environment, Energy and Climate Change” and its implementation is very important in order to realise the whole programme with success.
