Poland and Austria are working together to safeguard energy security in Europe. On 15 March 2024, Mrs. Paulina Hennig-Kloska, Minister of Climate and Energy, met with Mr. Andreas Stadler, Ambassador of Austria to Poland.

New investments in the energy sector are necessary to meet the growing demand for energy and to ensure supply security and energy security. Investments in energy storage facilities and electrolysers for hydrogen production and sustainable electrification of sectors of the economy are also necessary so as to ensure the full use of the energy generated by renewable energy sources

Without a sufficiently resilient energy system there will be no energy transition; therefore, it is important to look for solutions enhancing energy sovereignty through technological diversification, the optimum use of national capabilities and diversification of supply routes
