On 7-9 September Deputy Ministers Grzegorz Piechowiak, Andrzej Gut-Mostowy and Marek Niedużak participated in the Economic Forum in Karpacz, which this year was held under the motto "Europe in search of leadership". The deputy heads of the Ministry of Development and Technology took part in discussions concerning, among other things, sustainable investment, SMEs, export strategies, housing, public procurement and tourism.

A flat without own contribution and facilitations in the construction of residential houses of up to 70 m2 are the two flagship projects of the Polish Deal, which were adopted today by the Council of Ministers. The new solutions will improve the housing situation of Polish families. This will be helped by state support in obtaining and repaying housing loans and simplifying the construction procedure for small residential houses up to 70 m2.

The 92nd ITM Industry Europe trade fair was held in Poznań. The main event of the fair was the Industry Next congress - a project aimed at promoting the global development of Industry 4.0.

The seasonally unadjusted Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Q2 2021 grew by 11.1% year-on-year in real terms. Compared to the pandemic-marked second quarter of last year, there was a very strong rebound in trade (imports up 35.8% and exports up 29.3%), as well as in household consumption (up 13.3%). Investment is also recovering, with the rebuilding of inventories playing a leading role.

Piotr Uściński has been appointed by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Development and Technology. He will be responsible for construction, planning and spatial development and housing. The nomination for the position of Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Development and Technology was received from the Prime Minister Marek Niedużak. In the ministry he is responsible for the area of regulation and legislation.

Andrzej Gut-Mostowy, Grzegorz Piechowiak, Olga Semeniuk and Marek Niedużak have been appointed as Deputy Ministers in the Ministry of Development and Technology.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appointed Deputy Minister of Development and Technology Olga Semeniuk as Government Plenipotentiary for Small and Medium Enterprises.

Council of Ministers, by the Regulation of 12 August 2021, has established the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development, Labour and Technology Jarosław Gowin ceased to hold office on 11 September 2021. He was responsible for economic policy, labour market, housing and construction, special planning and tourism.

Transatlantic cooperation, including Poland's involvement in the newly established Trade and Technology Council , issues related to WTO reform and Polish-American economic relations were the main topics of the videoconference between Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin and Katherine Tai, the United States Trade Representative.
