“Only dialogue will make it possible to work out mutually satisfactory solutions to issues of economic cooperation” - this was the motto of a meeting today between Minister for Economic Development and Technology Krzysztof Hetman and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for the Reintegration of the Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk and Ukrainian Ambassador to the Republic of Poland Vasyl Zvarych.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk, at the request of Minister Krzysztof Hetman, has appointed Waldemar Sługocki as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.

The President signed an act amending the Act of 29 November 2000 on foreign trade in goods, technologies and services of strategic importance to the security of the State and to maintaining international peace and security.

By the decision of the Minister of Economic Development and Technology Waldemar Buda, the PAO Gazprom company, included into the sanction list, was put today into the temporary administration covering all shares of PAO Gazprom in the System Gazociągów Tranzytowych EuRoPol Gaz S.A. The aim of the administration is to ensure security of critical infrastructure.

Several thousand apartments – this is the estimated number of the former staff apartments in Poland. The increase in co-financing from the Subsidy Fund for the communes for purchase and renovation of such apartments up to 95% will allow their handover to the existing tenants more quickly. They will be granted with the right of preemption of such apartment for little money or rent it on preferential conditions

The energy security, diversification and strengthening the resilience of supply chains of the European Union, followed by supporting the industry and strategic autonomy of the UE – were the items of the agenda discussed during the economic meeting attended by Minister Waldemar Buda and the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Spain, Reyes Maroto. The meeting was held during the today’s Polish – Spanish intergovernmental consultations in Warsaw.

Strengthening the Polish – British economic relations in trade and investments, including green technologies and the impact of war in Ukraine on the economy, followed by the support and reconstruction of this country are the leitmotivs of the today’s meeting between Minister Waldemar Buda and the British Minister for International Trade Anne-MarieTrevelyan.
