Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski held a speech today to inaugurate the 16th Warsaw Human Rights Seminar. The Seminar's special guest was Michael O'Flaherty, Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe. Due to increased importance of migration, this year's edition focused on the legal and geopolitical contexts of migration.

Undersecretary of State Wojciech Zajączkowski met in Abuja with Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Dunoma Umar Ahmed and the representatives of other Nigerian ministries. They spoke about security as well as the political and economic cooperation.

Today in Warsaw, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski met with Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Taras Kachka. The meeting was also attended by the Chair of the Council for Cooperation with Ukraine Paweł Kowal.

Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Henryka Mościcka-Dendys met today with Secretary General of the Central European Initiative Franco Dal Mas. The deputy minister reiterated Poland's permanent engagement in the format and the importance of regional cooperation.

From 8 to 9 November 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Wojciech Zajączkowski participated in the fourth EU-CELAC (the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) summit in Santa Marta, Colombia. At the end of the summit, leaders adopted the Joint Declaration of the EU-CELAC Summit, EU-LAC Alliance for Citizen Security, and EU-LAC Bi-regional Pact on Care.

Deputy Foreign Ministers Robert Kupiecki and Marcin Bosacki met today in Warsaw with Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. The talks focused on Poland's support for Ukraine in its fight against the Russian aggression, and on Warsaw-Kyiv cooperation in dealing with challenges to regional security.

On 5th November, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski inaugurated an international conference titled: 'The United Nations at 80 - Towards a New World Order?' The event was co-organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the United Nations Information Centre in Warsaw, and the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw.

The meeting, held on 29-30 October 2025, centred on strengthening the cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its partners from local governments and non-governmental organisations. When opening the event, Head of the Foreign Service Rafał Wiśniewski put emphasis on the impact these entities have on Poland's image abroad.

Poland's cooperation with the Council members as well as regional security issues in the Persian Gulf and NATO's eastern flank were the main topics the deputy chief of Polish diplomacy discussed with ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council member states in Warsaw on 29 October 2025. The meeting was attended by representatives of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates as well as chargé d'affaires of the embassy of Qatar.
