“Nigeria is one of Poland’s key partners in Africa, and our bilateral relations have been successfully developing in recent years. We have a great potential to exploit, particularly in economy; we want to share our achievements in the modernisation and digitisation of the Polish economy and public administration,” said Deputy Minister Paweł Jabłoński during political consultations with Permanent Secretary of the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Gabriel Tanimu Aduda.

“Today, we are meeting in Warsaw not only because of our schedule of regular visits, but also to mark the 30th anniversary of the Treaty on Good Neighbourhood and Friendly Cooperation,” said Minister of Foreign Affairs Prof. Zbigniew Rau as he opened another meeting of the heads of Polish and German diplomacies in Warsaw today.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland welcomed the positive assessment of the parliamentary elections in Armenia, according to which international standards were met and the transparency of the voting process was ensured. The final results of the elections, presented by the Central Election Commission of Armenia, confirm that the will of the voters is to continue the democratic reforms initiated during the Velvet Revolution.

On 28 June 2021, Undersecretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Marcin Przydacz held bilateral political consultations in Rome with Undersecretary of State at the Italian MFA Benedetto Della Vedova.

“Estonia is our very important partner in the region, and a loyal partner in the EU, NATO, the UN, as well as many other international and regional organisations. (...) We agree that in the current international situation, in the context of the challenging security situation – in particular in our immediate, eastern neighbourhood – further cooperation and coordination of our actions is essential,” said Minister Zbigniew Rau after his meeting with Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Eva-Maria Liimets, who visited Warsaw on Tuesday, 29 June.

The foreign ministers of the Visegrad Group and the Western Balkans met at the historic Rogalin Palace on Monday 28 June 2021 to discuss how to accelerate the pace of European integration, support one another in the efforts to rebuild a strong post-pandemic Europe, and how to draw on the experience of Central Europe in building an effective regional partnership. Hosted by Foreign Minister Prof. Zbigniew Rau, the meeting was Poland’s initiative as part of its Visegrad Group presidency, which is now coming to an end. At the invitation of the Polish side, the meeting was also attended by the Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs and the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues.

Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Przydacz represented Poland during the Monday talks that were held in Rome. The meeting brought together over 80 high-level attendees, with the personal participation of NATO Secretary General and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. The conference was co-chaired by Italy’s Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

On Monday, 28 June 2021, foreign ministers of the V4 and Western Balkans will meet under the Polish presidency of the Visegrad Group. Hosted by Minister Zbigniew Rau, the event will also be attended by Croatia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, as well as the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues. The diplomats will convene in a Baroque palace located in the Rogalin landscape park near Poznań.
